Pet Society Updates – May 22nd May 22, 2010

Today, two new items were added for us to send as free gifts to our friends in Pet Society, the Bear Princess Plushie and the Pug Plushie.

When your pet is in his or her garden, you’ll notice a new meerkat icon on the left of the screen. If you click it, the following window will appear:

The new feature is a meerkat auto-harvest service that costs 4 Playfish Cash and lasts for seven days.  The service doesn’t make any sense to me, since growing a gigantic vegetable takes nine full days.  What do you think of this new feature?

just another way for playfish to try & get our money…

I think now the vegetable fairy and fruit fairy are useless

    • Andre Says:

No! fairies are still useful to avoid veggies from getting rot, but we have to consider that to grow veggies to gigantic needs 9 days at most but the terms of this meerkat just only 7 days. Isn’t that odd???

      • Andre, that’s a good point about the garden fairies. There’s no point to have both a fairy and a meerkat, and the timeline for the meerkat activity is too short.

    • Strange the meerkat does the same things are the fairies. weird.

Playfish just want us to spend more money…

  4. Peanut Says:

I guess you just buy the meerkat 2 days after you started growing your veggies… that will work I think. Someone should start this and let us know 🙂

  5. Vira Says:

it is odd now that you mention it . . .
though, the meerkat is very cute

why do we need a picker anyways, I love picking my own produce! Plus I usually pic leave 2 fruits on the tree, I wonder if the meerkat would pick a 3 and leave the tree looking bare~
